Who it's for
Retailers, tradespeople, practices, and local businesses that want more verifiable customer feedback on Google Business Profile, without circumventing platform rules or French consumer law.
The Free plan already allows a limited volume of requests; Starter, Business, and Pro plans increase volumes and options (follow-ups, widgets, etc.).
How it works
You connect your Google Business Profile listing, prepare an invitation template, then request a review from a customer after a service or order — manually, via CSV, or through a connector (API, e-commerce, inbound email…).
Steps
- Link the Google listing and verify the review link.
- Choose the email template and any delay.
- Trigger the request (manual, import, connector).
- Let the customer publish on Google themselves — PulseMyWeb does not publish the review on their behalf.
Rating neutrality
The journey is identical from 1 to 5 stars. PulseMyWeb does not redirect dissatisfied customers to a private form while reserving Google for satisfied customers.
Pulse Rewards, if enabled later, remains legally and functionally independent of submitting a Google review: no participation linked to a rating or review publication.
Do
- Request after a genuine interaction (purchase, appointment, delivery).
- Clearly state the purpose of the request.
- Respect unsubscribes and anti-follow-up delays.
Don't
- Buy, exchange, or reward a Google review.
- Request only from "happy" customers.
- Promise a better Google ranking.
Authentic requests vs prohibited practices
The table below summarises the difference between legitimate collection and prohibited practices.
Comparison
| Practice | Status |
|---|---|
| Neutral invitation after service, same link for everyone | Permitted and recommended |
| Fake reviews, review farms, profiles created to rate | Prohibited (Google + French law) |
| Payment, gift, or consideration conditioned on the review | Prohibited |
| Selective filtering of customers before Google invitation | Prohibited / contrary to policies |
